Introduction.

IdeationAI aims to make life easier for clinicians and better for patients, by creating AI solutions for the everyday challenges faced in the healthcare industry. We're proud to be the only design partner working with IdeationAI to design an AI-driven virtual assistant platform for the National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in the UK.

Challenges.

To ensure the platform adheres to strict security and data privacy regulations within the healthcare industry while developing a UI that caters to hospital devices for patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.

Our Approach.

We conducted in-depth user research with healthcare professionals and field research in the intensive care unit (ICU) to gain insights into users’ needs, preferences, devices, and pain points.
Compliance with Healthcare Regulations: We meticulously ensured that the platform's design adhered to strict security and data privacy regulations prevalent in the healthcare industry.
Web Development: In developing the platform, we paid special attention to UI compatibility with hospital devices, ensuring that it caters effectively to the diverse needs of patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.

Results.

The platform is currently in beta testing in several NHS hospitals within the UK. The platform's user-centric design and adherence to security and compliance standards resulted in a powerful and accessible solution that has a significant positive impact on the daily operations of NHS hospitals.
